The Police Station
If you are arrested and detained at a police station or attend for interview as a volunteer, you are entitled to consult a solicitor free of charge. We strongly advise that you do seek legal advice.
Pre-charge Engagement
The pre-charge engagement process is a relatively new procedure which provides an opportunity for us to be much more proactive, following the police station interview and prior to charge, by identifying further possible lines of enquiry for the police to pursue.
The Magistrates Court
All cases begin in the magistrates’ court and most of them conclude there. Our experienced solicitors attend magistrates’ courts throughout England and Wales on a regular basis and are able to provide effective representation in order to achieve the best possible result for you.
The Crown Court

If you are under the age of 18 then your case will start in the youth court. Although very serious offences are sent to the crown court the vast majority of offences will start and finish in the youth court.
