All people (regardless of earnings) are entitled to free representation at the police station.
If you have been asked to attend the police station for an interview under caution on a voluntary basis, then please call us to arrange representation. If you are arrested by police then please make sure that your legal rights are protected by asking for us at the police station. We have someone on duty 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
If your case is local to our offices then it will usually be one of our team that attends the police station to represent you however, we do sometimes use accredited police station representatives if we are unable to attend ourselves. If your case is not local, then we would arrange for a local accredited police station representative to attend unless you wished to instruct us on a private basis.
Some clients prefer to instruct us privately to represent them at the police station, either because they want a particular solicitor or because they are further away than we are able to travel on legal aid. Our fees vary depending on how fare away the police station is located from our offices. Please call us for further information.
Please call us on 01442 242999 or email us at hello@wheldonlaw.co.uk. to discuss how we can help you.
